It’s almost February, and I don’t have a valentine. This shouldn’t be such a big deal to me really, since even when I’ve had a mate over the “holiday,” most of them didn’t even notice the day anyway … but see, I feel extra ooey-gooey right now; like I need to send extra love out into the universe so that I’ll receive some good karma back … or something.
Point is: I’m uh … well, I … see, it’s just that … well I was kind of hoping … ermm … you might be my valentine this year? I mean, I do love you … in a weird, totally creepy blog way.
I love sending things to people; I love the old school style of schoolyard valentine cards. I love getting out of my head for a while; sending snail mail to the big wide world.
Bottom line: I have a whole box of valentine cards and no one to send them to. My head & heart need some cheer … entertain a crazy old cat lady and be my valentine?
